A very interesting week

It’s Friday, the end of the working week for most people, but not if you’re in a band. Most gigs tend to happen at a weekend, even for original bands such as ourselves. It always makes for an exciting weekend. Much better than mowing the lawn, or painting a wall, don’t you think.

Last weekend we played a wonderful gig at the Grimsargh Field Day, the band met some lovely people and Paul collapsed with heat exhaustion. Just your average gig really.

We spent the rest of the week working on new songs and recording the album which contains a mix of recent and older songs, it’s starting to take shape, starting to sound really good. We’ll be working hard on it next week, too.

Sunday sees ICE take to the Moho Live stage in Manchester, if you want to catch them, make sure you get there early, they’re on at 7.15.

Tickets are still available, if you buy them on the door they’re £14, if you buy them in advance from Moho they’re £12, but if you buy them from the ICE website you can get them for the bargain price of just £7. Don’t ask me how they do it, but they do.

It’s still not too late, go to http://www.iceband.net/be_live1.htm and the tickets will be left on the door for you

ok, that’s all for now, sooner or later I’ll get used to this blogging lark
